After your long and tiring journey you still managed to 'rip it up' on stage and played two outstanding sets. Well done guys and we hope to cross paths with you again some ole' day. Hope you enjoyed Telfest. That's a load...on.

Our short tour into the heart of Amsterdam was quite fascinating, especially to me, first trip to Europe. Clean, efficient, beautiful city. Seems that bicycles are the most important form of transportation here and the trains all run on time. We were introduced to an "Info. Shark" last night, my first. While staring at a street map, we were approached by a gentleman who offered us information about how to get where we wanted to go. Despite Chris's uncertainty it became evident that this man knew EXACTLY what he was talking about. Though we tried to ignore him, his command of geography won us over and for this a mere 2 Euro.'s. Panhandling never felt so appreciated.

While downtown at a "coffee shop" we witnessed the entire city observe 2 minutes of total silence in commemoration of "Liberation Day." Celebrating the Netherlands 60th year of liberation from the Nazi occupation in WWII. It was an extremely moving experience. Saw the Queen (Beatrix) perform the ceremony on TV. (Cecil sends best.)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12625513.post-1115159016285989962005-05-03T18:23:00.000-04:002005-05-03T18:23:00.000-04:00Bon Voyage!Hope you have a wonderful trip.
